Organization’s mission statement: United Hospice of Rockland, Inc. (UHR) provides care, hope, comfort and improved quality of life to individuals and their families facing serious illness. We offer compassionate support to members of our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We lead the health and human services community in improving the provision of care to those affected by serious illness.

Marketing Assistance-2-4 hours weekly:
Develop and assist in implementation, communication, public relations materials, and media strategies for UHR marketing and public relations campaigns
Assist with updates to the UHR website utilizing content management software to keep content accurate, current and interesting
Assist in developing a social media strategy and posting online communications to targeted community and social media networking sites
Help manage e-mail marketing communications utilizing a Web based e-mail software system
Responsible for working with colleagues to create, edit, and distribute internal and external print and online newsletters
Assist in the production process for the design and development of print, Web, video and multimedia presentations
Fundraising Assistance-need an individual to serve as chair for our Swim Across America in July.
Will work with Director of Development. Individual needs to be outgoing, have connections or ability to develop connections across the community. Four hours/week until event is over in July.
